Senator Sadiq Suleiman Umar, representing Kwara North Senatorial District, has extended warm birthday wishes to his colleague, friend, and senior brother, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, on the occasion of his 65th birthday.
In a brief congratulatory message, Senator Umar described Senator Obanikoro as “a distinguished public servant, seasoned diplomat, and respected leader whose contributions to Nigeria’s democratic development remain exemplary.”
“Senator Obanikoro’s decades of service – from the Senate to his role as Minister of State for Defence, and Nigeria’s High Commissioner to Ghana — reflect a deep commitment to national progress and good governance. He remains a source of guidance and inspiration to many of us in public service,” Senator Umar stated.
He prayed for continued good health, wisdom, and peace for the elder statesman, adding, “May this milestone bring joy to you and your loved ones.”
