Deputy Senate Leader, Ashiru Elated As 7 Kwara Southerners Bags NYSC Presidential Honour

The Deputy Leader of the Senate , Architect Oyelola Yisa Ashiru, has congratulated the Kwara South indigenes that received the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Presidential Award of Excellence .

The Kwara South senator said he was elated at the development that seven out of eight Kwarans that received the Presidential Award for outstanding service are from Kwara South .

The award winners are:
Kareem Jeelel Amoloye (Ekiti)
Adebiyi Lekan Hamzat (Offa)
Aminat Ajoke Hassan (Offa)
Alabi Omotayo (Ifelodun)
Lawal Victor (Ifelodun)
Lawal Oluwatobi (Ifelodun)
Israel Ayeni (Isin).

Ashiru in his message celebrating the awardees, urged them to continue with the good work and lift the name of the State wherever they find themselves.

“NYSC started as a vision which has become a reality and the mission continues by integrating opportunity which the institution has created for all of us.

” I am glad that in your various primary assignments, you have demonstrated leadership and compassion by helping people.

“On behalf of Kwara South senatorial district,we express our profound appreciation for making Kwara south proud, we are proud of you,” the statement said.
