Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, Founder of ENACT and Member, Board of Trustees (BOT), TETFUND, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Hajia Medinat Yussuff, the APC Woman Leader for Erin Ile North Ward in Oyun Local Government Area and a founding pillar of the Kwara Integrity Group.
In a condolence message issued on Wednesday, Engr. Adeyemi described the late Hajia Medinat as a dedicated grassroots mobilizer, fearless political activist, and a loyal voice of progressive ideals in Kwara politics.
“Hajia Medinat Yussuff was more than a political ally—she was a resilient, principled, and committed woman whose contributions to justice, equity, and good governance stood out across our shared political journey,” he said. “She was a strong mother figure, a mobilizer of women, and a dependable lieutenant whose integrity was never in doubt.”
He noted that her passing is not only a great loss to her immediate family and the APC in Oyun, but also to the broader network of progressives across Kwara State who admired her courage and consistency.
Engr. Adeyemi prayed for the repose of her soul, asking Almighty Allah to forgive her shortcomings and grant her Aljanat-ul-Firdaws.
“Her legacy of loyalty, conviction, and service will remain a guiding light for all who knew her,” he added.
