
The Agbamu Descendants Union (ADU) has announced it will host its 2025 free medical outreach, providing essential healthcare services to indigent people in Agbamu and surrounding communities in Kwara State.
The medical outreach, a decades-long community intervention by the group, is scheduled for Friday, December 27, 2025, and will take place at the Agbamu General Hospital from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
According to a statement received by 9japarrot, the President of the group, Engr. Olalekan Balogun, said the initiative aims to provide multi-million naira worth of healthcare services to thousands of individuals, including young people and the elderly, within the host community and its environs.
The 2025 outreach will feature a comprehensive range of free services, including:
• Checking of Vitals and BMI
• Various medical tests
• Eyesight examinations
• Body and drug distribution
• Distribution of free eyeglasses
• Cataract surgery
• Prostate screening, among others.

Engr. Balogun noted that the introduction of prostate cancer screening is a new addition to the program, reflecting the group’s commitment to providing targeted and impactful healthcare support.
The ADU leadership seized the opportunity to commend all its sponsors over the years for their continuous commitment to the yearly medical healthcare outreach.
They also extended gratitude to the community for their loyal support and continuous cooperation.
Reiterating the group’s dedication, Engr. Balogun affirmed their commitment to continue investing in the medical outreach to alleviate the financial burden on the community and promote preventive healthcare.
