Kudu Owode Community Honours TETFUND BoT Member, Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi for Societal Impact

The Kudu Owode Community in Isin Local Government Area of Kwara State has honoured Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, Founder of ENACT and Member of the Board of Trustees (BOT) of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND), with a Recognition of Service award for his exemplary leadership and contributions to societal growth.

The award, presented during a community ceremony on Saturday recognizes Engr. Adeyemi’s “leadership qualities, outstanding contribution to societal growth, and passion for human development.” The gesture is a reflection of the community’s appreciation for his commitment to grassroots empowerment and sustainable development.

Residents and community leaders of Kudu Owode hailed Engr. Adeyemi as a bridge between the government and the people, citing his consistent support for rural development initiatives and youth-focused programs across Kwara South and beyond.

“This recognition means a lot because it comes directly from the people,” Engr. Adeyemi said while responding to the honour. “It is both humbling and inspiring. I remain committed to doing more to uplift our communities.”

Engr. Adeyemi, who also sits on the BOT of TETFUND, is widely acknowledged for his investments in education, innovation, and human capital development. Through ENACT Hub and ENACT Foundation, he has empowered numerous youths, facilitated scholarships, and supported community-based infrastructure projects in various parts of Kwara State.

The recognition by Kudu Owode Community adds to a growing list of accolades received by the ENACT founder in recent years, reaffirming his place as one of the state’s most impactful philanthropists and public-spirited technocrats.

The award plaque, presented on August 2nd, 2025, stands as a symbol of gratitude from the community for what they described as “uncommon dedication to service and grassroots development.”
