Medical doctors, nurses, pharmacists and community health workers were on ground providing consultations, basic treatments, free medication and health education for Constituents who were present.

Large turnouts were recorded at all centres as residents accessed services for a range of primary-care needs totally for free.

The initiative, facilitated by Senator Sadiq Umar, seeks to improve “last-mile” access to health services for Kwarans and complements the Gov. The outreach will resume tomorrow, Friday, 15 August 2025, to complete services and reach additional patients who were unable to attend today.

Senator Sadiq who has sustained delivery of coordinated medical outreaches across rural Communities for the past six (6) years of representing Kwara North at the National Assembly expressed appreciation to the medical teams and community volunteers for their commitment and urged residents who still require care to attend any of the centres tomorrow. The Senator reiterated his continued commitment to delivering people-centred interventions that improve health outcomes across Kwara North.
