Irepodun Youth Council Rallies Support for Youth Engagement, Unity

The Irepodun Youth Council, led by its President, Comrade Ibiwoye Olaniyi Moses (Aniyikaye), has embarked on a series of consultative visits to youth and community leaders within the local government area.

According to a statement issued through the Director of New Media of the group, Kehinde Sulaiman Guba, the visits are part of the council’s mission to foster unity, promote growth, and ensure the active engagement of youths in government.

During the group’s visit to Oro Kingdom, the Irepodun Youth Council was received by the President of the Oro Kingdom Youth Forum (OKYF), Mallam Ismail Aribidesi.

Speaking at the gathering, Comrade Ibiwoye stated that the purpose of the visit was to carry every youth along in their activities and promote unity and growth across the local government.

In his remarks, Mallam Aribidesi commended the Irepodun Youth Council’s initiative and offered 100% support for their mission.

We are on a mission which is unity and development of youth across the LGA, so we are ready anytime you call us if you need our presence, he said.

The consultative tour also included a visit to Ilala Community, where the President of the Ilala Youth, Mr. Atoyebi Shodeeq, expressed his appreciation for the visit and pledged support for the youth council.

He also charged the executive members of the council not to relent in their efforts.

The Community Chairman of Ilala, Mr. Tajudeen Muhammad, also attended the meeting, offering prayers and fatherly advice to the council.

At Egi Oyo Ipo, the Youth President, Mr. Yakubu Wasiu, commended the Irepodun Youth Council’s leadership.

He seized the opportunity to draw the council’s attention to a critical issue in his community, requesting their assistance in addressing the prolonged electricity outage that has affected the area for a considerable period.
