In the early hours of Thursday, Asiwaju of Offa and Chairman of Avalon Group, Alhaji Tajudeen Owoyemi held an intense, closed-door meeting with the National Chairman of APC, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda. During the meeting, the Offa-born billionaire discussed vital issues with Prof Nentawe, issues discussed were;
National Development: Asiwaju disclosed that he envisages and reiterated his commitment to national development with the APC national chairman, especially having contributed to the development of the country through tourism.
Inclusiveness of Offa Sons and Daughters in national positions: He also disclosed his submission appealing for Offarians to be considered at the peak of Nigeria’s career and political appointments, Offa Sons and Daughters have proven to be diligent and hardworking in the history of modern Nigeria.
Insecurity in Nigeria, especially in Kwara: He liaises with Prof. Nentawe to use his position to push for a lasting solution to Nigeria’s insecurity, because Prof. Nentawe is from Plateau State where insecurity troubles, while making an appeal to lobby for collaborative efforts to combat rising insecurity and banditry in Kwara, especially in Kwara South and Kwara North.
