The Senator representing Kwara North Senatorial District, Senator Sadiq Suleiman Umar, has joined His Excellency Gov. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq CON (Executive Governor of Kwara State) and millions around the world to celebrate the invaluable contributions of teachers to nation-building on the occasion of World Teachers’ Day 2025.
In a message personally signed by the Senator and made available to 9japarrot media, himself a proud and passionate teacher, he described teachers as “the true architects of society whose impact transcends classrooms and whose influence shapes generations.”
“As someone who began his professional journey in the classroom, I understand deeply the sacrifices, patience, and passion that go into moulding young minds. Teachers are not just conveyors of knowledge, they are builders of character, vision, and the future.”
Senator Sadiq commended teachers across Kwara State and Nigeria for their resilience in the face of challenges, noting that their dedication remains the bedrock upon which the dreams of countless children are built.
