Senator Kalu Returns Reinvigorated As Senate Resumes Plenary After 10-Week Break

Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, representing Abia North Senatorial District has signalled a renewed and vigorous commitment to his legislative responsibilities.

The lawmaker disclosed this on Tuesday as the Nigerian Senate resumed plenary following a ten-week recess.

The former Governor of Abia State and Chairman of the Senate Committee on the South-East Development Commission, stated that he returned from the extended break reinvigorated and fully committed to deepening accountability, discipline, and purposeful governance.

In a statement released shortly after the Senate reconvened and made available to 9japarrot media, Senator Kalu outlined the critical areas he intends to focus on during the current legislative session.

His priorities affirm a dedication that spans his constituency, his region, and the nation as a whole cutting across delivering impactful representation for the constituents of Abia North, advancing the interests of the South-East Region through diligent work as the Chairman of the South-East Development Commission Committee and contributing meaningfully to the progress of the Nation.
