Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has approved the appointment of Dr. Barau Nuhu Barnabas as the substantive Provost of the state-owned College of Education, Akwanga.
The Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Labaran Shuaibu Magaji, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, announced the approval in a statement issued on Tuesday.
According to the statement, the approval follows the recommendation of the Bulus Moyi-led Governing Council of the College after successful interview of candidates.
The Governing Council of the College had shortlisted and interviewed Dr. Barau Nuhu Barnabas and five other candidates for the role.
