BAT Movement Strategizes for 2027, Appoints National Officers

Ahead of the 2027 electioneering campaign session, the leadership of BAT Movement Nigeria, a government policy advocacy group and frontline support platform for the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has announced the appointments of key National Officers.

Those appointed include Honourable Faith Pokuma, former Special Adviser to Late President Mohammadu Buhari on Social Events as National Organizing Secretary; Hon. Ademola Adetokunbo, the Senior Special Adviser to President Tinubu on Coastal Tourism, attached to the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation as Director of Contact and Mobilization; Ezekiel Oloriegbe, a journalist and PR professional as National Secretary; and Adedayo Showemimo, a respected Nigerian journalist and media consultant as Head of Media and Publicity.

While Hon. Ademola Adetokunbo’s appointment as Director of Contact and Mobilization followed a careful review of his unwavering support, proven commitment to grassroots engagement, leadership and coordination, Hon. Madam Faith Pokuma’s appointment as National Organizing Secretary was informed by her organizational acumen, dedication to national development and demonstrated commitment to the vision and ideals of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Mr. Ezekiel Oloriegbe who has been appointed as National Secretary, got this important leadership role due to his commitment to national development, and exceptional capacity for administrative coordination while Mr. Adedayo Showemimo earned his appointment as Head of Media for BAT Movement Nigeria, following his vast experience in journalism and media consultancy.


Founder of BAT Movement, Otunba Biodun Ajiboye while ratifying their appointments at a meeting held at the Head Office in Abuja, said their commitment to the vision and ideals of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and dedication to national development earned them the appointments.

The new National Officers are expected to provide strategic input that will further strengthen BAT Movement’s visibility and influence across the federation.
