NACCIMA Nat’l President Appoints Ambassador Janet Omoleegho As Special Adviser on International Relations

The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ambassador Janet Olisa, OON, as Special Adviser to the National President of NACCIMA on International Relations, with effect from October 6, 2025.

Ambassador Olisa is a retired Nigerian diplomat and public policy strategist with over 30 years of distinguished experience in diplomacy, national planning, and development. She played a pivotal role in shaping Nigeria’s Medium-Term National Development Plans, managing multi-billion-naira budgets, and aligning foreign policy with national growth priorities.

As High Commissioner and Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, she successfully fostered bilateral and multilateral partnerships, attracting foreign governments, investors, and stakeholders to strengthen cooperation in trade, infrastructure, and energy development. She also made key contributions to presidential transitions, policy reforms, and the optimization of Nigeria’s over 100 diplomatic missions globally.

A recipient of the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON), Ambassador Olisa is recognized for her strategic leadership and results-driven diplomacy that bridge foreign relations with economic policy to advance Nigeria’s global standing and national development.

In announcing the appointment, the National President of NACCIMA, Engr. (Dr.) Jani Ibrahim, mni, OON, expressed confidence that Ambassador Olisa’s wealth of diplomatic experience and international network will further strengthen NACCIMA’s engagement with global partners and institutions. He emphasized that her appointment aligns with NACCIMA’s commitment to deepening international trade collaboration and supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda towards achieving Nigeria’s $1 trillion economy by 2030.
