Promise Kept As Amofin Akogun Empowers Oke Ero Beneficiaries with POS Terminals, Financial Grants

Amofin Titilope Akogun has been hailed as a Promise Keeper after he fulfilled his pledge to beneficiaries in Oke Ero Local Government Area by distributing 15 POS terminals alongside ₦25,000 start-up grants to successful beneficiaries.

The empowerment initiative, executed under the umbrella of the BTA Foundation, is the latest milestone in Akogun’s continuous drive to promote financial inclusion, micro-enterprise growth, and youth empowerment across the Kwara South Senatorial District.

The beneficiaries in Oke Ero received Moniepoint POS terminals along with the start-up capital. This package is specifically designed to enhance their capacity to earn a sustainable income through digital financial services, which many beneficiaries described as a lifeline for kickstarting or expanding their small businesses.

Speaking through his representative, Mrs. C.K. Oguntoye, Amofin Akogun reaffirmed his commitment to keeping his promises and delivering tangible community impact.

“Our goal is simple, to empower our people with tools, not just talk. We are building businesses, not just giving handouts,” he stated.

The fulfillment of the promise in Oke Ero follows similar successful interventions already carried out in Ekiti and Isin Local Governments. The final phase of the comprehensive empowerment initiative is set to hold in Irepodun LGA.

The Media Office of Amofin Akogun noted that the initiative reflects his core belief in sustainable empowerment, which focuses on equipping individuals with the means to become self-reliant and contribute meaningfully to their local economies.
