The Nigerian Senate is scheduled to screen the new ministerial nominee, Dr. Bernard Doro, on Wednesday, following the completion of his security clearance.
Dr. Doro, a pharmacist and lawyer hailing from Plateau State, was nominated by President Bola Tinubu to fill the vacancy left by Nentawe Yilwanta, who recently became the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Ministerial-Nominee is noted for his background as a United Kingdom-based IT expert and currently serves as a Member of the Institute of Mortgage Brokers and Lenders Governing Board. His screening session will take place in the Senate chamber.
