Youth Group under the aegis of Odo Lokan Ambassadors group has officially launched the countdown to its much-anticipated event, the “Day of Champions 2026,”.
This event signaled a renewed wave of youth mobilization and political awareness ahead of the 2027 general elections in Kwara State.
The event is aimed at galvanizing support for the Federal House of Representatives aspiration of Amofin Titilope Akogun for the Irepodun, Ekiti, Isin, and Oke Ero Federal Constituency.
According to the group’s Coordinator, Comrade Sogbodile Abiodun in a statement made available to 9japarrot media, the commencement of the countdown marks a defining moment for young people to actively take charge in shaping the political and developmental direction of their communities.
“As the countdown begins, we are set to take up our rightful place as young, purposeful citizens of Irepodun, Ekiti, Isin, and Oke Ero. We are ready for history and 2027 will be that turning point,” Abiodun declared.
The Odo Lokan Ambassadors reaffirmed their unwavering support for Amofin Akogun, noting that he is a leader of vision, integrity, and action who has consistently empowered and inspired the youth even without holding public office.
“We are Akogites. We are for Amofin Akogun 2027. Our movement stands for progress, service, and genuine leadership that uplifts the people,” the statement asserted.
The group reaffirmed that the “Day of Champions 2026” will serve as a symbolic gathering of hope, unity, and shared purpose for young people determined to make a difference in the forthcoming elections.
