NACCIMA Strengthens Ties with Health Minister Pate to Foster Inclusive Growth

The National President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Engr. Jani Ibrahim, led a high-powered delegation on a courtesy visit to the Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, on the sidelines of the 138th Canton Fair.

The meeting, held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Guangzhou on Friday, October 31, 2025, underscores NACCIMA’s strategic commitment to forging closer ties with key government ministries and agencies. This visit is part of NACCIMA’s broader strategy to position the private sector as a core partner in the President Bola Tinubu-led administration’s economic agenda, particularly in achieving the ambitious $1 trillion economy target.

The Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Ali Pate, lauded the association for its proactive stance and various initiatives aimed at strengthening inclusive growth within the Nigerian economy. He thanked the NACCIMA team for the visit and promised that his ministry’s doors would remain open for collaborations and partnerships with the business community.

Prof. Pate specifically commended Engr. Jani Ibrahim for his exceptional leadership and for rallying members to be progressive partners of the administration.

The Consul General of the Nigerian Consulate in Guangzhou, Amb. George Collins Onwuekwe, was also present during the strategic engagement.
