The Honourable Member representing Irepodun Constituency in the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Shola Odetundun, felicitates with His Royal Majesty, Oba Yakub Agboola Babalola Egunjobi II, the Elesie of Esie, on the momentous celebration of his 38th anniversary on the ancient throne of Esie Kingdom.
In his goodwill message obtained by 9japarrot media, Hon. Odetundun described the Elesie of Esie as a symbol of peace, progress, and cultural pride, whose reign has brought enduring unity, development, and harmony to the people of Esie and beyond.
“Kabiyesi, your 38 years on the revered throne of your forefathers have been marked by wisdom, humility, and tireless commitment to the growth and peace of Esie land. Your reign continues to inspire hope and pride in our shared heritage,” Odetundun stated.
He further expressed profound gratitude to the monarch for the honour bestowed upon him last year with the chieftaincy title of Otunba Atunluse of Esie Land, describing it as a call to greater service and partnership in promoting the socio-cultural and economic development of the community.
“The title of Otunba Atunluse remains a personal source of motivation and responsibility. I remain ever committed to supporting the visionary leadership of Kabiyesi and contributing meaningfully to the continuous growth of Esie and Irepodun at large,” he added.
Hon. Odetundun prayed for long life, strength, and divine wisdom for Oba Yakub Agboola Babalola Egunjobi II, wishing him many more fruitful years of peaceful and progressive reign.
