
Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi, Chairman of the ENACT and Member representing the North Central on the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) Board, heartily congratulates His Royal Highness, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, Emir of Ilorin and Chairman, Kwara State Council of Chiefs, on the momentous celebration of his 30th Coronation Anniversary.
Engr. Adeyemi describes the Emir’s three-decade reign as a remarkable era defined by wisdom, dignity, and purposeful leadership. According to him, Alhaji (Dr.) Sulu-Gambari has been an exemplary custodian of culture and a fatherly symbol of unity whose reign continues to strengthen social harmony across Ilorin Emirate and beyond.
He extolled the Emir’s unwavering commitment to peacebuilding, noting that His Royal Highness has consistently deployed his influence, counsel, and moral authority to promote peaceful coexistence among diverse communities in Ilorin, Kwara State, and Nigeria at large. Engr. Adeyemi emphasized that the Emir’s visionary leadership has contributed immensely to the stability and continuous development of the Emirate, making it a model of moderation, tolerance, and communal progress.
“Over the last 30 years, His Royal Highness has demonstrated exceptional statesmanship and a deep passion for the welfare of his people,” Engr. Adeyemi noted. “His reign has brought about sustained peace, strengthened traditional institutions, and fostered a conducive atmosphere for growth, innovation, and societal advancement. We celebrate an icon of peace, a pillar of unity, and a leader whose impacts transcend boundaries.”
Engr. Adeyemi prays that Almighty Allah continues to grant His Royal Highness long life, sound health, and greater strength to steer the affairs of the Ilorin Emirate and continue his contributions to national peace and development.
