
The Kwara South Intelligence Networking (KSIN), a major socio-political group has strongly condemned the heinous attack on innocent worshippers in Eruku, Ekiti Local Government Area.
This development was confirmed by group while rising from its monthly meeting held at “Ile Egbe Omo Ibile Igbomina.”
The meeting resolution, signed by key leaders including Gen. Abidoye Lasisi (Rtd), Hon. Prince Wahab Femi Agbaje (Whyte), and Hon. Barr. Kayode Towoju, and made available to 9japarrot media focused heavily on the need for decisive action and unity in the face of rising security challenges.
KSIN expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims who lost their lives in the attack on Tuesday, November 18, and prayed for the swift recovery of the injured.
Crucially, the group commended the prompt response of His Excellency, the Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, and the state security agencies for their swift action to apprehend the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
This commendation aligns with reports that the Governor called for immediate security reinforcement and condemned the unconscionable attack.
“We urge the security agencies to do more to ensure the safety and security of lives and properties in Kwara South and the entire state.” the statement added.
The networking group assured the people of Kwara South of its continued support and collaboration with security agencies to combat insecurity and promote peace in their communities.
They further called on all stakeholders to remain vigilant and work together to create a safer environment, concluding with a defiant stance against criminal elements.
