••• Bags Award of Excellence, Calls for Active Youth Participation in APC and Kwara Development
Senator Sadiq Suleiman Umar, representing Kwara North Senatorial District, eminently featured as the Special Guest of Honour at the 2025 APC Youth Dialogue, where he received an Award of Excellence in recognition of his sterling representation and unwavering commitment to the growth and development of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Kwara State.
The well-attended event, organized by the Coalition of APC Support Groups in Kwara State, held at the Banquet Hall, Ilorin, brought together youths from across the state, party stakeholders, and leaders committed to strengthening youth engagement within the APC.
Presenting the award, the organizers commended Senator Sadiq for his consistent support for youth empowerment, responsive leadership, and impactful contributions to grassroots development across Kwara North and the state at large.
In his response, Senator Sadiq Umar who also served as Special Guest of Honour at the program, expressed gratitude for the recognition and used the platform to call on Kwara youths to remain proactive, united, and actively involved in advancing the ideals of the APC and the overall development of Kwara State under His Excellency Gov. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq CON (Executive Governor of Kwara State).
He emphasized that youth participation remains central to sustainable governance, party cohesion, and the realization of shared development goals.
The Senator further encouraged young people to embrace constructive political engagement, capacity building, and collective responsibility as key drivers of progress and good governance.
The 2025 APC Youth Dialogue reaffirmed the party’s commitment to inclusiveness, youth-driven leadership, and collaborative governance in Kwara State.
