As Christians across Irepodun Local Government, Kwara State, and Nigeria at large celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, I, Hon. Shola Odetundun, Member representing Irepodun Constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly, extend my warmest Christmas greetings to our people.
Christmas is a season that reminds us of love, sacrifice, peace, and renewed hope. It is a time to reflect on our collective journey as a people and to reassure one another that no challenge is insurmountable when we stand united with faith and determination.
No doubt there has been a growing security concerns that have affected our communities in recent times. These challenges have tested our resilience, but they have not broken our spirit. I want to assure the good people of Irepodun that concrete steps are being taken at all levels of government to strengthen security architecture, support our local security outfits and ensure that our communities remain safe for all.
As we celebrate this season of joy, I urge us all to continue to pray for peace, support our security agencies, and remain vigilant while promoting unity and cooperation within our communities. Together, we will overcome our challenges and build a safer, stronger, and more prosperous Irepodun.
May this Christmas usher in peace, renewed hope, and divine protection for every household. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with progress, good health, and lasting security.
