Chief of Staff to Youth Minister, Mohammed Funsho Abdullahi Unveils MFA Support Forum, Pledges 2027 Re-election Support for Tinubu, AbdulRazaq

Hon. Muhammed Funsho Abdullahi (MFA), the Chief of Staff to the Minister of Youth Development has reiterated his commitments to the re-election bid of President Tinubu and his continuous support for Gov AbdulRazaq.

Abdullahi disclosed this during the official unveiling of the Mohammed Funsho Abdullahi (MFA) Support Forum on Saturday, in Ilorin.

The event which was held at PADA Hall, beside Government Girls Day Secondary School, Pakata, combined political mobilization with substantial social and educational empowerment.

9japarrot reports that the newly launched forum pledged its core mission is to mobilise grassroots support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027, as well as to support any candidate endorsed by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

Speaking at the unveiling, Hon. Mohammed Funsho Abdullahi explained that his decision to join the MFA Forum, which is convened by Comrade Ridwan Alaye, was based on the group’s unique display of honesty and dedication to the less privileged.

“He explained that after so much persistence from the group, one day he decided to give them attention. During the meeting with the group he gave them a sum of N500,000 and to his utmost surprise the following day, the group went to use the money to buy things for the less privileged.

He said this unique characteristic drew him to the group and that is why he agreed to work with them and to officially launch the Forum.

As part of the empowerment, Hon. Mohammed announced a cash donation support of N10,000 each to 123 members of the community, noting this is in line with the APC’s people-oriented behavior of giving back to the people.

The event also featured the MFA Primary Schools Knowledge Championship Debate, drawing schools from across the Ilorin metropolis including Mount Camel School A, Oloje; Adeta LGEA School B; Anifowoshe LGEA School A; Abata Baba-Oyo Primary School; Pakata LGEA School; ALD-Yauddeen LGEA Primary School, Alore; Ibadu Rahman LGEA School, Oke Foma; Baboko LGEA School; Barakat LGEA School; and Gbagba LGEA School.



He commended the strategic achievements of Kwara Governor in Education following the sterling performance of the pupils at quiz and debate competition noting that the heavy investment in education through the KwaraLearn and other intervention by the govt is rapidly changing the narrative in public schools.

Abdullahi also commended President Tinubu for the bold step of removing the fuel subsidy, stating that while initially painful, it is now yielding a positive impact as people now get pms petrol easily now even in December without having to queue for days.

The Knowledge Championship saw significant prizes awarded to both pupils and schools with each participating pupil receiving ₦10,000, while the overall best school went home with ₦50,000 and a new laptop. The first runner-up received ₦30,000 and a laptop, while the second runner-up got ₦20,000 and a laptop.

In further support, the Kwara State Commissioner for Education, Dr. Lawal Olohungbebe, presented cash gifts to the teachers at the event, while the Ilorin West Local Government Chairman, Hon. AbdulRahman Babatunde Ladan, awarded ₦50,000 each to the three best pupils.

Earlier in his remarks, Hon. Abdullahi reaffirmed his loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC), stating that he’s APC 100 per cent, and will continue to celebrate the party leaders.

In attendance were party stalwarts and key government officials, including the Special Assistant on Digital Innovation to Kwara Governor, Hon. Ishola Kayode, and APC Zonal Youth Leader for North Central, Hon. Zubair Aliyu Rogun.
