
The Founder of ENACT and a Board Member of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) representing the North Central geopolitical zone, Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun was on Tuesday conferred with dual prestigious honours by two prominent traditional rulers in Isin Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The renowned philanthropist was installed as the Akinrogun of Oba Kingdom by the Oloba of Oba Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Timothy T. Oyebanji, and simultaneously appointed as the first-ever Cultural Ambassador of Isanlu Isin by the First Class Monarch and Olusin of Isanlu Isin, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Solomon Oloyede, JP.
The installation as Akinrogun of Oba Kingdom took place during the 30th Coronation Anniversary of the Oloba of Oba Kingdom and the colourful Ayeogbon Carnival held in Oba town.
The Oloba of Oba Kingdom, Oba Oyebanji in his remarks stated that the chieftaincy title was bestowed upon Engr. Balogun in appreciation of his contributions to humanity, community development, and cultural advancement.

The monarch described Engr Nurudeen as a man whose impact transcends local boundaries.

Speaking at the ceremony, Olusin of Isanlu Isin, Oba Oloyede acknowledged Engr. Balogun’s appointment, citing his unwavering commitment to community development, profound respect for the traditional institution, and widespread acceptability among the Isin people as the key factors behind the prestigious recognition.
Oba Oloyede described Engr. Balogun as a worthy cultural icon whose efforts have projected Isin culture from the grassroots to the global stage.
The first class monarch charged the TETFund Board Member to sustain his cultural advocacy and urged the public to emulate his exemplary character, morals, and commitment to societal values.
Prior to the conferment ceremony, Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, alongside members of the Kwara South Unity Group (KSUG), paid a courtesy visit to the palace of Oba Oloyede to seek Royal blessings ahead of the commencement of the 5th Edition of Ajokogun Fiesta and the launching of a Two Hundred and Fifty Million Naira Ultra Modern Town Hall Complex.
