Prince Lekan Adewoye Distributes Rice Across 83 Wards in Kwara South to Mark Festive Season

Prince Lekan Adewoye, Founder of the Lekan Adewoye Foundation and Chairman of the Basic Metal, Iron & Steel Sectoral Group of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), has distributed food items (rice) across all 83 wards of the Kwara South Senatorial District to mark the Christmas and New Year celebrations.

The annual outreach exercise took place at his political office in Omu-Aran, Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, where representatives from various wards converged to receive the items on behalf of their communities. The initiative was aimed at supporting families and vulnerable residents during the festive period.

Speaking through his representative, Chief Raphael Bamidele Awotunde, Prince Adewoye said the distribution reflects his long-standing commitment to grassroots welfare and inclusive development. He noted that the festive season is a time for love, unity, and sharing, adding that no household should be left behind during celebrations.

Beneficiaries and community representatives commended the gesture, describing it as timely and impactful, and praised Prince Adewoye for sustaining the initiative over the years.
