••• Credits Governor AbdulRazaq, Speaker Danladi’s Leadership for Driving Interventions
The Member representing Omupo State Constituency in the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. AGF Salahuddeen on Saturday hosted the Omupo Constituency 2026 Mega Empowerment program for his Constituents.
The event which was held at St. Michael LGEA Omupo saw the distribution of various vocational tools and equipment to constituents.
Distributed items included Sprayers, freezers, sawing machines, grinding machines, Generators among others aimed at supporting small-scale businesses and artisanal trades within the constituency.
In his remarks, Hon. Salahuddeen expressed strong loyalty and appreciation for the state leadership, attributing his capacity for community intervention to their inspiration.
“Today I would like to say our Governor is a good leader to reckon with and our third citizen my Boss Hon. Yakubu Salihu Danladi the speaker of Kwara State. I am happy to have them as a Leader because whoever listens to them will have a successful work done.” He said
He explained that while constituency empowerment is not the primary duty of a legislator, the positive impact of having good leaders in Kwara State motivates them to execute tangible projects.
The lawmaker noted that since assuming office in 2019, he has been consistently executing people-oriented interventions, often keeping them low-key, adhering to the principle that when given out something with the right hand the left hand should not know about it.
Speaking also, Elder Oyin Zubair, a Community Development Advocate noted that Ifelodun LGA is gradually moving forward, appreciating the Kwara State Government under Governor AbdulRazaq for doing it differently.
He specifically urged beneficiaries to make best use of the empowerment tools and not sell it out for chicken change.
On his part, Hon. Abubakar Lukman, Ifelodun LG APC Chairman offered gratitude to God for protection from the ongoing banditry issues in Igbomina land.
He affirmed that this was not the first intervention by the Honourable Member and promised that such progressive gestures would continue as long as he is given the mandate to represent the people.
Adding to the voices, Comrade Abdurauf Bello Labelabe lauds Hon. Salahuddeen as good leader and supportive one, urging him to look forward to contest for a position higher than this to enable him to continue serving the people while pledging continuous support.
Beneficiaries were urged to use the items in a rightful way to yield positive results, ensuring the lawmaker who has a good mindset is happy at the end of the day.
Some of the beneficiaries who spoke shortly after receiving the empowerment tools expressed joy and satisfaction, praying to God to continue to guide the Lawmaker.
They added that AGF Salahuddeen have distinguished himself as an uncommon representative since assuming office, expressing confidence that he’ll do even greater if given a bigger platform to represent the people.
