The Member representing Irepodun Constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Shola Odetundun, has congratulated Engr. Sunday Adebayo Babalola on his appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a Non-Executive Commissioner of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), subject to Senate confirmation.
Hon. Odetundun described the appointment as a well-earned recognition of Engr. Babalola’s proven competence, integrity, and years of dedicated service to national development. He noted that Engr. Babalola, a distinguished son of Omu-Aran Ward 1 in Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, has built a reputation for professionalism and excellence in his field.
According to Hon. Odetundun, Engr. Babalola’s wealth of experience and technical insight will be of great value to the commission and will contribute meaningfully to the effective regulation and growth of Nigeria’s upstream petroleum sector.
