SENATOR SADIQ VISITS MORO LGA; CALLS FOR UNITY AND MOBILISES FOR MASS APC E-REGISTRATION EXERCISE
The Senator representing Kwara North Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Sadiq Suleiman Umar, has called on party members and constituents to embrace unity and participate actively in the ongoing APC revalidation and e-registration exercise across Kwara North Senatorial District and the state at large.
The call was made during a strategic advocacy visit to Moro Local Government Area, as part of the Senator’s constituency engagement aimed at strengthening the APC at the grassroots. The exercise, he noted, was recently flagged off by the Executive Governor of Kwara State, His Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON.
Addressing APC leaders, community stakeholders, youths and women leaders, Senator Sadiq emphasised that a credible and updated party register remains critical to consolidating the party’s strength and ensuring sustained electoral success. He urged members to turn out en masse to register and revalidate their membership.
The Senator further stressed the need for unity, internal harmony and collective responsibility within the APC, describing unity as the foundation of progress and victory. He called on all stakeholders to set aside differences and work together for the growth of the party and the overall development of Kwara State.
He also encouraged eligible citizens to take advantage of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) by INEC, describing voter registration as a vital civic duty and a key instrument for effective democratic participation.
Commending the people of Moro LGA for their steadfast support for the APC, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON, Senator Sadiq reaffirmed his commitment to grassroots mobilisation and inclusive politics.
Stakeholders at the meeting appreciated the Senator’s leadership and pledged to mobilise their communities for massive participation in the exercise. To support the process, the Senator provided logistical and financial assistance to party officials to ensure smooth coordination across the LGA.
The visit ended with renewed enthusiasm and a shared resolve to strengthen the APC through unity and mass participation.
