The BTA Foundation, in collaboration with the Odo Lokan Ambassadors, has inaugurated its Planning Committee toward the preparation of the first Big 4 Conference in Kwara South, aimed at resetting the Big 4 Local Government Areas of Irepodun, Ekiti, Isin, and Oke Ero.
The inaugural meeting marked the commencement of structured planning for inclusive development within the Odo Lokan Federal Constituency.
At the meeting, four sub-committees were constituted. The Roadmap Sub-Committee, charged with developing a people-focused constituency development framework, is chaired by Mr. Olutosin Bello, with Comrade James Adedayo as Secretary. Engr. Opeyemi Samson and Arch. Akanni Abdulrazaq will serve as members.
The Publicity Sub-Committee is chaired by Comrade Segun Ege, with Comrade Adedayo James as Secretary. Members include Mr. Femi Alagira, Mutiat Adeola, Ibrahim Khadijat, Bankole Ojo, Mr. Disu Jamiu, and Benjamin Tunde.
The Welfare and Logistics Sub-Committee has Abiodun Ibuoye Sogbodile as Chairman and Omowumi Ogundele as Secretary, with Don Ibukun Ogunsan and Ibrahim Ladan as members.
The Organizing and Mobilisation Sub-Committee is chaired by Mallam AbdulGaniyu Kehinde (NFF), with Hon. Mohammed Soliu-Abdulrasheed (Must Jo) as Secretary. Members include Comrade Oladapo Emmanuel, Abiodun Ibuoye Sogbodile, Comrade Segun Ege, Mutiat Adeola, Omowumi Ogundele, Don Ibukun Ogunsan, and Engr. Akintomide Adegboyegbe.
Speaking at the meeting, the Co-Convener, Barrister Titilope Akogun, urged all committee members to contribute their very best toward the success of the conference, describing it as a pivotal moment that will shape the future of the Big 4 Local Government Areas and unlock unprecedented opportunities that will be the envy of many.
The Planning Committee reaffirmed its commitment to inclusiveness, transparency, and people-driven development as preparations continue for the historic Big 4 Conference.
