Barrister Hussein Afolabi, the founder of the Asiwaju Grassroots Alliance Initiative (AGAIN), has urged the people of Kwara State to participate massively in the ongoing nationwide electronic membership registration and revalidation exercise.
The call comes as the party intensifies its efforts to digitize its membership database, aiming for a more transparent and robust political structure ahead of the 2027 electoral cycle.
Speaking to newsmen on Thursday, Barrister Afolabi emphasized that the E-registration process is not merely a technical formality but a critical tool for political empowerment.
He noted that the initiative ensures every member’s voice is captured accurately, eliminating the historical challenges of manual record-keeping and shadow membership.
“The future of our party lies in the hands of the people at the grassroots. By registering digitally, every Kwaran ensures they have a verifiable stake in the party’s decision-making process,” Afolabi stated.
9japarrot reports that the registration, which requires a valid National Identification Number (NIN), is designed to sanitize the party’s register and provide a level playing field for both old and new members.
The Asiwaju Grassroots Alliance Initiative (AGAIN) has been at the forefront of mobilizing local support for the ruling party’s progressive agenda.
Afolabi further urged community leaders, youth groups, and women’s organizations to lead the charge in their respective wards to ensure Kwara remains a stronghold for the APC comes 2027 general election and beyond.
