In direct response to the recent wave of school closures and academic disruptions across Kwara State, Dr. Babatunde Abdullateef Ojomu has announced the launch of the OJOMU Scholars Hub.

According to a statement obtained by 9japarrot media from his media team, the free educational support initiative is designed to ensure that Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) candidates do not fall behind despite the temporary shutdown of several institutions, including Kwara State Polytechnic and the College of Education, Oro, due to security concerns and administrative adjustments.

With the academic calendar currently under pressure, the OJOMU Scholars Hub aims to provide a structured, remote learning environment for students.

Starting February 1st, 2026, the hub will offer; Digital Study Materials (Curated resources aligned with the WAEC and NECO syllabi), Video Lessons(On-demand tutorials covering core subjects) and Academic Guidance (Direct access to mentors and educators for exam strategies and difficult concepts).

Ojomu Scholars Hub is an education support initiative led by Dr. Abdullateef Babatunde Ojomu, PDP Leading House of Representative Aspirant.

The “WhatsApp Classroom” Model
To ensure maximum accessibility for students with varying levels of internet access, the initiative will be coordinated through a dedicated WhatsApp group. This platform will serve as the primary access point for resource distribution and real-time coordination between students and the Ojomu Media Team.
