Five local government areas in Ilorin Emirate have commenced construction of Multi-purpose Pavilion at Emir of Ilorin’s Forecourt.
The five local government areas; Ilorin West, Ilorin South, Ilorin East, Asa and Moro would jointly fund Ilorin Emirate Multi-purpose Pavilion.
A statement issued on Tuesday by Ibraheem Abdullateef, Media Officer to the Pavilion Steering Committee says the committee, led by Chairman Alhaji Abdullateef Gidado Alakawa has handed the project to contractor after receiving go ahead from the Emir, Dr Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari.
Dr Sulu-Gambari blessed the project and enjoined the public to lend their support for it.
Ilorin Emirate Multipurpose pavilion is a one-of-a-kind project to promote the heritage, foster tourism, and sociocultural development of Ilorin Emirate and Kwara.
