Omu-Aran–born legal practitioner and House of Representatives aspirant, Amofin Joseph Titilope Akogun, through his BTA Foundation, has continued to demonstrate an undeniable commitment to community development and human capacity building across Kwara South.
Over the years, Amofin’s BTA Foundation has implemented numerous impactful programmes that have significantly improved the quality of life of beneficiaries, earning the foundation widespread goodwill and trust within the communities it serves.
In line with its enduring mission to promote and support quality education at all levels, the Foundation has carried out several educational interventions in several schools across the district. To date, over 254 students have benefited from BTA Foundation scholarships spanning primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions, while more than 160 JAMB candidates have received sponsorship in previous years.
For the 2026 academic year, the Foundation has resolved to further grow its education initiative, aptly named “Igi Iwe”, with the following interventions:
✅Distribution of 500 free JAMB forms
✅Full tuition scholarships for students who score 300 and above in JAMB
✅JAMB registration support for applicants
According to the Project Director of
BTA Foundation, Tabitha Seun noted these interventions will be extended across Irepodun, Ekiti, Isin, and Oke Ero Local Government Areas within the Kwara South Senatorial District.
