Member representing Irepodun Constituency in the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Olushola Odetundun, has been conferred with a Merit Award by the One Voice for Kwara Youth Forum.
The award, presented under the auspices of the All Progressives Congress (APC) youth wing, recognizes Hon. Odetundun’s outstanding contributions to grassroots development and his persistent advocacy for youth inclusion in governance.
The One Voice for Kwara Youth Forum, led by Comr. Ahmed Olaide Gbangba, described the lawmaker as a pillar of support for the youth population in Kwara South. The group noted that the gesture was a direct response to his visible efforts in bridging the gap between the legislative chamber and the needs of young people in his constituency.
9japarrot reports that the award follows closely on the heels of the lawmaker’s recent donation of a patrol vehicle to the Irepodun Local Vigilante Group, demonstrating his holistic approach to community development and security.
Representing Hon. Odetundun at the event was his Personal Assistant, Adeniyi Olaitan John (Paso), who received the plaque on behalf of the legislator. The presentation was made by Comr. Abdulmajeed Temidire Aburo Gomina, amidst cheers from party faithful and youth leaders.

In his remarks, Comr. Ahmed Olaide Gbangba noted the award is not just a plaque; it is a testament to Hon. Odetundun’s unwavering commitment to the youth of Kwara State.
Hon. Odetundun has continued to align his legislative agenda with the “Renewed Hope” vision of the Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq administration. His recent activities ranging from food and cash distributions to the elderly and vulnerable to security interventions have solidified his reputation as a Member for the People.
