Ahead of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 26 encounter between Kwara United and Kano Pillars, Engr Nurudeen Adeyemi, Board Member of TETFUND representing the North Central, has purchased all match tickets to grant supporters and stakeholders free access to the game.

The highly anticipated fixture will take place on Sunday at the Rashidi Yekini Main Bowl of the George Innih Stadium, Ilorin, with kickoff scheduled for 4:00pm.

Engr Adeyemi made the announcement while addressing journalists in Ilorin on Thursday, describing the gesture as part of his commitment to mobilising massive support for the Harmony Boys during this critical stage of the season.

He explained that the initiative became necessary to encourage more fans and supporters to fill the Rashidi Yekini Arena and back the team from start to finish.

“I’m pleased to announce to football enthusiasts in the state that the NPFL game between our darling team, Kwara United, and Kano Pillars on Sunday will be free for all football lovers, as I have purchased all the tickets to ensure easy access for our supporters,” he said.

He further urged members of the public to come out en masse and support the Harmony Boys as they aim to triumph over Sai Masu Gida.

The encounter is widely regarded as a crucial battle, with Kwara United seeking maximum points in their fight for survival. Strong support from kickoff to the final whistle is expected to provide the needed morale boost for the team.
