Ramadan/Lent: Odetundun Felicitates With Muslim, Christian Faithfuls

The Member representing Irepodun Constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Shola Odetundun has extends his heartfelt greetings to all Muslim faithful on the commencement of the holy month of Ramadan, and to Christian faithful as they begin the sacred season of Lent.

Hon. Odetundun described both seasons as profound periods of spiritual reflection, self-discipline, sacrifice, and renewed devotion to God. He noted that Ramadan and Lent symbolize humility, compassion, and love for humanity values that are essential for peaceful coexistence and sustainable development in our communities.

He urged Muslim faithful to use the holy month of Ramadan to pray for peace, unity, and continued progress in Irepodun Constituency, Kwara State, and Nigeria at large. He also encouraged Christians observing Lent to embrace the season’s call to repentance, charity, and spiritual renewal.

According to him, “These sacred seasons remind us of our shared responsibility to uphold righteousness, support one another, and work collectively for the growth and harmony of our society.”

Hon. Odetundun reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to inclusive representation, grassroots development, and the overall welfare of his constituents. He prayed that the Almighty grants all faithful the strength, good health, and grace to complete the fasting and spiritual exercises successfully.
