The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Youth Engagement (Kwara South) to Kwara State Governor, Hon. Samson Ilufoye, has commended the peaceful and orderly conduct of the recently concluded ward and local government congresses across Kwara State.
In a statement issued on Monday, Ilufoye described the exercise as a transparent reflection of internal democracy, noting that the maturity displayed by party members has further solidified the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a united front in the region.
Hon. Ilufoye attributed the seamless nature of the congresses to the exemplary leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq. He noted that the Governor’s commitment to fairness and inclusivity has deepened grassroots participation and strengthened the party’s structures.
“I sincerely appreciate His Excellency, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, and the entire party leadership for ensuring a seamless and credible process. Their commitment to unity and fairness has once again reinforced the confidence of members in our great party” He said.
Representing the youth constituency of Kwara South, Ilufoye pledged total support for President Tinubu’s re-election bid, linking the Renewed Hope Agenda to the aspirations of young Nigerians.
He stated that Kwara South youths stand firmly behind the President, pledging to continue mobilizing grassroots support to ensure the completion of the ongoing national progress and reforms.
Ilufoye added that the administration’s policies remain pivotal to sustainable growth for the Nigerian youth.
Addressing the newly affirmed ward and local government executives, the SSA urged them to prioritize unity, inclusiveness, and selfless service.
He emphasized that the collective effort of the new leadership is essential to maintaining the party’s dominance in Kwara State and ensuring victory in future electoral cycles.
