Encomiums as Engr Akeem Adedeji FNSE Distributes Ramadan Palliatives to 5,000 People in Offa

The Imperial Event Center, Offa, was a scene of immense gratitude and relief on Friday as Engr. Akeem Ibrahim Adediji, FNSE, flagged off a massive Ramadan Palliative distribution exercise.

The initiative, organized through his Adediji Foundation, provided essential food items including bags of rice and beans to 5,000 deserving beneficiaries across Offa and surrounding communities to cushion the effects of the current economic climate during the holy month of Ramadan.

Speaking at the event, Sheikh Abdulrahman Abayomi Hussain Al-Imam (Allahu-Lateef), the Founder of the Bin Salman Institute of Arabic and Islamic Studies lauded Engr Adedeji’s timely intervention.

The cleric who is also the younger brother of the Chief Imam of Offa noted that Engr. Adediji has distinguished himself as a philanthropist with a rare heart for humanity.

“Many philanthropists have emerged over the years, but the Bobajiroro of Offa Land is an uncommon one. His efforts have set him apart through different gigantic projects he has executed in this Community” He said.

“We pray that God grants him more capacity and energy to keep supporting humanity. I urge all well-to-do personalities to draw lessons from him and emulate his good work.” the Cleric added.

9japarrot reports that a major highlight of the exercise was the priority given to People with Disabilities (PWD) which on his part, the Chairman of the Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD) for Offa and Oyun LGAs, Azeez Olusegun Folorunsho, expressed profound delight at the smooth and transparent process of the exercise.

Folorunsho revealed that the group was pleasantly surprised to be contacted by the sponsor to submit names for the exercise, noting that such gestures give PWDs a sense of belonging and show they are cared for by key stakeholders in society.

With security personnel stationed on ground to ensure an orderly process during the presentation of packages to the long lines of attendees, beneficiaries from across the nooks and crannies of Offa Local Government turn up en masse with their verification identity card to claim packages.



The exercise recorded a high level of success with a dedicated segment ensuring the elderly and disabled received their packages with ease and peacefully.
