•• Stakeholders Call for Unity, Collective Action

The Ifelodun Local Government Area Council under the Leadership of Hadji Femi Yusuf Abdulrasheed, on Thursday, organized a special prayer session in honor of the former Senator representing Kwara South Senatorial district, Senator Suleiman Ajadi Makanjuola.
The event which held at the State capital, Ilorin in a powerful display of gratitude and communal solidarity, was convened to offer thanksgiving for the Senator’s safe return following a period of ill health and to seek divine intervention for the unity and progress of the Local Government.
Delivering his remarks at the gathering, Ifelodun LG Chairman, Hadji Femi Yusuf described Senator Ajadi as a truthful leader whose legacy of inclusivity and service remains a blueprint for current officeholders.


He noted that Senator Ajadi’s ability to move people closer to himself while in office is the reason the community continues to stand by him.
“We are here to thank God for our beloved father’s safe return home, it is a grace we do not take for granted” He said.
Chairman Femi stated that Senator Ajadi is a role model to all and for that should be set as a standard example for political office holders citing that during his tenure He worked with his people with one voice.
He emphasized that despite existing rifts, the local government has seen positive changes due to consistent effort and a unified mind. He urged all indigenes to set aside differences and speak with one voice to ensure Ifelodun remains a dominant force in Kwara’s political and developmental landscape.
The prayer session was officiated by Fadilat Sheikh Muhammed Jamiu Usman, who led the congregation in supplications for the Senator’s continued health and for peace within the local government and the state at large.


On his part, Sen. Suleiman Ajadi expressed gratitude to the leadership of Ifelodun LG, noting that the special prayer means a lot to him and shows that the Leadership under Hadji Femi Yusuf hold him in high esteem.


He acknowledged that embracing consistency in initiating this kind of gesture will further strengthen the relationship between stakeholders and office holders within the Local Government.
