The Senator representing Kwara North Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Sen. Sadiq Suleiman Umar, has expressed sorrow over the passing of renowned legal practitioner, elder statesman and respected leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State, Barr. Kunle Suleiman.
In a condolence message released on Thursday, Senator Sadiq described the death of Barr. Kunle Suleiman as a great loss to Kwara State, the APC family and the Nigerian legal and political community.
According to the Senator, the late Barrister Suleiman was a distinguished figure whose life was defined by service, integrity, wisdom and an unwavering commitment to the progress of Kwara State and the ideals of progressive politics.
The lawmaker noted that the late elder statesman was widely admired for his calm disposition, wealth of experience and his readiness to mentor younger generations in politics, law and public service.
He prayed Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and give his family, associates and the entire APC family the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
