Former Abia State Governor and Senator representing Abia North, Orji Uzor Kalu, has called on members and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State to remain united and committed to securing the re-election of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.

Kalu made the call during a strategic stakeholders’ meeting held at his country home in Igbere, Abia State, where leaders of the APC and members of his grassroots political structures — the Orji Uzor Kalu Movement and the Reality Organisation — gathered to discuss preparations ahead of the next electoral cycle.

According to the senator, the meeting was part of ongoing efforts to strengthen political coordination within the party and reinforce grassroots mobilisation across the state as momentum gradually builds toward the 2027 elections.

He noted that the OUK Movement and the Reality Organisation remain among the most formidable grassroots political support networks in Abia State, stressing that the engagement provided an opportunity to deepen collaboration and align strategies for the political tasks ahead.

Kalu emphasised that the primary focus of the meeting was to motivate members and supporters to remain steadfast in their commitment to the re-election bid of President Tinubu while working closely with every organ of the APC to ensure victory for all the party’s candidates during the 2027 polls.

He further highlighted the importance of unity, discipline and sustained grassroots mobilisation as critical pillars for political success.

“When we stand together with a common purpose, victory becomes inevitable,” Kalu stated.

The former governor also expressed appreciation to party leaders and stakeholders who attended the meeting and contributed to discussions on strengthening the party’s structure in the state.

Among those present were the APC State Secretary, Tohukwu Avajah; the State Woman Leader, Cecilia Erondu; Hon. Ifeanyi Ogbonna; and former Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly and current Abia State Chairman of the City Boy Movement, Hon. Chinedu Orji.

Other party leaders from the state, local government and grassroots levels were also in attendance.

Kalu reaffirmed his commitment to working with party stakeholders to strengthen the APC in Abia State and support the implementation of the Renewed Hope agenda of the Tinubu administration for the development of the country.
