The Member representing Irepodun Constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Shola Odetundun, has congratulated the newly sworn-in executives of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Irepodun Local Government Area.
In a statement released on Friday, Hon. Odetundun felicitated with the newly inaugurated leadership of the party in the local government, led by the Chairman, Alhaji Aliyu Ibrahim Kawu, and the Secretary, Prince Olabode Clement Olarenwaju.
Hon. Odetundun described their emergence as a reflection of the confidence reposed in them by party members, noting that their leadership comes at a crucial time when unity, dedication, and commitment are needed to further strengthen the party at the grassroots.
He commended the leadership of the Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, for his continued commitment to strengthening the party structure and promoting unity across the state. He noted that the peaceful affirmation and swearing-in of party executives across the state is a testament to the Governor’s inclusive leadership and dedication to building a stronger and more cohesive APC.
He urged the new executives to work closely with party stakeholders, members, and leaders across the wards to consolidate on the achievements of the party and ensure continued progress for the APC in Irepodun.
The lawmaker expressed confidence that under the leadership of Alhaji Aliyu Ibrahim Kawu the party in Irepodun would continue to grow stronger and remain united.
Hon. Odetundun also called on party members and supporters to give the new executives their full support and cooperation to enable them succeed in their new responsibilities.
