•• Distributes Palliatives Across 8 Communities in Kajola Ward

The 2024 PDP Councillorship candidate for Odo-Owa II (Kajola) Ward, Hon. Muhammed-Soliu Abdulrosheed Olabanjo, popularly known as “Must Jọ” has unveiled empowerment initiative for widows across his constituency.
The event held on Wednesday saw widows drawn from all eight communities within the Kajola axis including non-indigenous residents receiving support to cushion the current economic hardship.
The empowerment program was chaired by the PDP Ward Chairman of Odo-Owa II, Hon. Abdulrosheed Tiamiyu, who lauded the sponsor’s resilience.
He reminded the gathering that although Hon. Olabanjo was widely elected in the 2024 Local Government elections but denied the mandate by the powers that be, his dedication to the people has not wavered.
“Those currently in power have not done anything close to this for our people. Hon. Olabanjo has shown that you do not need an official seat to have a heart for the people. This intervention is a unique act of service that is worthy of emulation by all, He said.
The Ward Chairman attributed the spirit of the intervention to the leadership and kind gestures of the National Leader of the party, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki (CON), noting that the initiative is a reflection of the “Saraki School of Politics,” which prioritizes human capital development and welfare.
He further urged beneficiaries and party faithful to remain steadfast with the PDP, calling on the community to rally around Dr. Saraki and the party to defeat the current administration, which he described as being marred by insecurity and poor performance.
He assured those not selected for the current batch that the empowerment would be a continuous exercise, reaching all corners of the ward subsequently.
Speaking at the event, stakeholders including Chief Osunji (Baba Agbo Oselu) and Hon. Gbenga commended the organizers for the transparent and well-coordinated selection process, urging beneficiaries to make judicious use of the support provided.
Other notable personalities in attendance included Hon. Chief Folorunso and Alhaja Bamisaye all of whom praised the sponsor for remaining a committed party loyalist despite the 2024 electoral setbacks.
On their part, the beneficiaries expressed deep gratitude to “Must Jọ,” with many offering prayers for his future aspirations. They reassured the party leadership of their continuous support, noting that such quiet acts of kindness are what truly resonate with the masses at the grassroots level.
