The maiden edition of the 3SU U-23 Ramadan Soccer Competition, sponsored by the Distinguished Senator representing Kwara North Senatorial District, Senator Sadiq Suleiman Umar, has successfully come to a thrilling and impactful conclusion after a week of competitive and entertaining football.
The tournament, which brought together 12 teams from across Kwara State, lived up to its billing as a platform for youth engagement, talent discovery, and community unity. Throughout the competition, football enthusiasts were treated to high-quality displays of skill, discipline, and sportsmanship, reflecting the immense potential within Kwara’s youth population.
Representing the Senator at the grand finale held in Ilorin was Alhaji Abass Ahmed, a retired Assistant Controller General of Immigration and Makama of Kaiama Emirate, alongside other key members of the 3SU Mandate Team. They commended the participating teams, officials, and organizers for delivering a well-coordinated and successful tournament.
Awards were presented to outstanding players, teams, and officials in recognition of their exceptional performances and contributions, further highlighting the competitive spirit and excellence that defined the competition.
