Eid-ul-Fitr: Sarkin Gobir Greets Kwara Gov, Emir of Ilorin, Muslim Ummah

The Sarkin Gobir and Madawaki of Ilorin Emirate, Alhaji Yakubu Garba Gobir, has extended warm felicitations to key dignitaries and the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.

In a goodwill message, Alhaji Gobir conveyed his heartfelt greetings and profound respect to the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, as well as the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, wishing them continued good health, wisdom, and a peaceful reign.

Alhaji Gobir congratulated Muslims across Nigeria and beyond for their devotion, sacrifices, and steadfastness throughout the fasting period. He urged the faithful to sustain the virtues of patience, humility, and generosity imbibed during Ramadan.

“Eid-ul-Fitr is not just a celebration, but a reminder of the discipline, sacrifice, and devotion we have offered to Almighty Allah. Let us uphold these virtues and continue to live in peace, unity, and righteousness,” he stated.

He called on Muslims to use the festive period to pray for peace, unity, and progress in Kwara State and Nigeria at large, emphasizing the need for love, tolerance, and harmonious coexistence among citizens.

Alhaji Gobir further encouraged Nigerians to remain hopeful and committed to nation-building, stressing that collective efforts and prayers are essential for overcoming the country’s challenges.

He wished all Muslims a joyful and peaceful Eid celebration.
