DWAC Foundation Provides Medical Outreach, Distributes Food, Hygiene Materials To 650 Beneficiaries in Otte Community

DWAC Foundation, under the leadership of its executive founder, Princess Damilola Wale-Aremu, expanded its community intervention to Otte Oja community in Asa Local Government Area of Kwara State. During the outreach, the foundation conducted comprehensive medical treatments, including eye tests coupled with the distribution of free glasses, provision of free medications, sugar level testing, HIV screening, and blood pressure monitoring, among other health services. The activity was overseen by project lead Mr. Ajayi Tomiwa, who also facilitated the distribution of food palliatives and hygiene materials to over 650 beneficiaries.

In his remarks, Mr. Ajayi emphasized the significance of the intervention, especially at a time when healthcare affordability is declining for many citizens. He stated, “What we are doing today is one of many initiatives we have undertaken at DWAC Foundation. We recognize the importance of good health and being aware of one’s health status.”

Princess Damilola Wale-Aremu highlighted the impact of the medical outreach, reaffirming the foundation’s commitment to improving health outcomes and ensuring community well-being. She appealed to government authorities to enhance healthcare delivery services across Kwara State to better serve its residents.
