APC Kwara State Governorship Aspirant and chieftain, Prof. Wale Sulaiman, CON, has extended warm Easter greetings to Christians in Kwara State, across Nigeria, and around the world as they celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
In a message to commemorate Easter Sunday, Prof. Sulaiman joined millions of Christians and the Christian community in celebrating the triumph of hope, sacrifice, and redemption which the resurrection of Jesus Christ represents for humanity.
According to him, Easter is a sacred season that calls for deep reflection on the virtues of love, forgiveness, sacrifice, and righteousness which Jesus Christ exemplified through His life, crucifixion, and resurrection.
Prof. Sulaiman noted that the lessons of Easter remain highly relevant to the Nigerian society, urging Christians to sustain the spirit of compassion, unity, and selfless service that the season represents.
He emphasized that Nigeria’s greatest strength lies in the unity of its people despite cultural, religious, and ethnic diversity, adding that love and mutual respect must remain the foundation for national peace and progress.
The people-oriented governorship aspirant therefore called on Christians to use the occasion of Easter to pray for divine guidance for the nation’s leaders and for God’s continued intervention in the affairs of Nigeria.
He expressed optimism that through collective prayers, faith, and commitment to righteous living, Nigeria will continue to experience peace, unity, and sustainable development.
Prof. Sulaiman wished Christians a joyful Easter celebration and prayed that the blessings of the resurrection bring renewed hope, strength, and prosperity to families, communities, and the nation at large.
