The Jaiyeoba of Igbaja, Chief Olaitan Nurudeen Owoniyi has extended his warmest greetings to the Christian faithful in the Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency and throughout Kwara State as faithfuls across the globe celebrates the glorious resurrection of Jesus Christ.
In a statement issued through his media office on Easter Sunday, the renowned businessman and philanthropist described Easter as the ultimate symbol of hope, renewal, and the boundless love of God for humanity.
Chief Owoniyi noted that the resurrection of Christ provides a profound blueprint for overcoming life’s greatest challenges, urging constituents to remain resilient in the face of temporary hurdles.
“Easter is more than a celebration, it is a divine assurance that no matter how deep the ‘grave’ of our collective challenges may seem, the light of victory will surely emerge,” the statement read.
“As we celebrate the risen Christ, let us embrace the virtues of sacrifice, humility, and the unwavering faith that a better tomorrow is within our reach for the people of Ifelodun, Offa, and Oyun.” the statement added.

Chief Owoniyi also used the occasion to express his continued support for the administration of His Excellency, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (CON). He credited the Governor for creating a socio-political atmosphere where every citizen can thrive regardless of their faith.
