Engr. Emmanuel Idowu Ogunleye has officially declared his intention to contest for a seat in the State House of Assembly, signaling a major step in early political mobilization within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti Local Government of Kwara State.

According to the development obtained by 9japarrot media, the announcement was made during a PDP stakeholders’ meeting held at the residence of Hon. Felicia Ebun Owolabi Ilorin, drawing the attention and support of key party figures and community leaders.

The declaration highlights increasing grassroots participation and strategic alignment within the party as it begins to position itself for the 2027 general elections.
