The Kwara Progressive Media Organization (KPMO), under the leadership of Amb. Adeyefa Moses Pelumi, ANIPR, is set to convene the Kwara Progressive Youth Conference 2026 (KPYC2026) in October.
The conference is designed as a youth-focused platform to promote leadership development, youth participation in governance, civic engagement and unity within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State.
According to the organisers, the conference will bring together APC youth leaders, party executives, students, young professionals, media practitioners, elected and appointed public officials as well as party candidates to engage in meaningful conversations on leadership, governance, youth inclusion and the future of Kwara State.
The event will also provide an avenue to discuss the development programmes, policies and achievements of the administration of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, while opening constructive conversations around continuity, sustainability, party unity and greater youth participation in the 2027 electoral process.
KPYC2026 is expected to provide opportunities for networking, exchange of ideas and leadership development, while creating a platform for young people to engage more actively in political and governance processes in the state.
The organisers urged young people across Kwara State and other stakeholders interested in youth leadership and governance to be part of the conference.
“Be part of the conversation. Be part of the future. Be part of KPYC2026,” the organisers said.
